The Weidemann Hoftrac 1260LP model allows easy passage under obstacles up to 2 meters high without the need to fold down the protective frame. At the same time, the loader is characterized by increased stability, making it especially efficient when handling heavy loads.
An additional advantage is the Direct Wheel Drive (dwDrive) system — a powerful and efficient drive concept in which all four wheels receive direct drive. The fully hydraulic wheel hub drive increases efficiency, provides fast acceleration, improves maneuverability, and delivers high tractive force.
Direct Wheel Drive (dwDrive) - is a drive system in which four hydraulic motors are integrated directly into the wheel hubs. Each wheel has its own motor that drives it directly, without additional mechanical transmissions.
The hydraulic motors are powered directly by the travel hydraulic pump, which eliminates mechanical energy losses. To protect the system from pressure spikes, a special high-pressure safety valve is used, while an anti-cavitation valve between the wheel motors ensures stable oil supply, especially during cornering.
This type of drive is most efficient for machines with an operating weight of up to 3 tons. Due to the fully hydraulic design, there are no power losses typical of axles or gearboxes. As a result, dwDrive provides high tractive effort, rapid acceleration, and dynamic, highly maneuverable machine performance.
LP design (Low Position): height under 2 m
Thanks to the lowered operator seat position, the overall machine height is reduced. This allows easy passage through openings up to 2 meters high without the need to fold the protective frame or remove the cab.

Increased lifting height and reach thanks to the extended loader arm
In addition to the standard loader arm, many Weidemann Hoftrac models can be equipped with one or more extended loader arms as an option. This design provides greater lifting height and increased reach, allowing a wider range of tasks without switching to a larger machine. This improves the efficiency and versatility of compact machines.
The extended loader arm not only lifts loads higher but also increases forward reach. This makes it easy, for example, to load and unload trailers using pallet forks, even when working with a second row of loads.
Comfortable boom damping
The boom suspension system is electrically activated and ensures smoother and more stable machine handling both on rough terrain and during road travel. It is especially useful when transporting heavy loads in a bucket or on pallet forks, as well as when moving heavy attachments over long distances at high speed. This significantly increases operator comfort.
Boom damping reduces machine oscillation at high travel speeds. As a result, safety is improved, and stress on machine components is reduced as shocks and vibrations are effectively absorbed.

Thanks to its compact dimensions and good directional stability, the machine offers high mobility and easy handling. It responds quickly to operator inputs and performs efficiently in various working conditions.
