Results of comparing two rapeseed sowing technologies on the same
field
On the same field, on the same day, and with the same sowing and
fertiliser rates, demo plots of rapeseed were laid out for an honest comparison
of two technologies and two units:
- Czajkowski STK400 9R Strip-Till unit complete with Czajkowski PS400 9R sowing attachment;
- Horsch Avatar 6 SL No-Till sowing complex.
Location: Odessa region, Berezivsky district, village of
Mykhailopil.
Sowing: 10-11 September 2025.
In the photo: germination results as of 28 September, comparison
of plants as of 18 and 27 November.
The data obtained clearly demonstrates the difference in plant development depending on the soil cultivation technology. This is another example of how Strip-Till allows you to maximise moisture retention, form the correct soil structure and ensure friendly and uniform germination.
