The separation of engine speed and travel speed is very useful when using hydraulically operated attachments. Slow travel and high hydraulic power are a great combination in many applications.

With the Varidrive system, the operator can select the appropriate engine speed using the hand throttle to achieve a balance between the hydraulic flow of the machine and the needs of the attachment. When using this system, the right pedal controls the speed of the machine. There is no need to slow down or decelerate the machine using the brake pedal.
