Automatic greasing system (AGS)
Manitou telescopic handlers with automatic greasing system (AGS)
Manual
lubrication can be problematic and time-consuming, especially when each machine
has up to 30 lubrication points, some of which are located in hard-to-reach
areas such as the boom head.
The main
characteristics of an automatic lubrication system:
1. High
efficiency: three independent lubrication circuits, each of which is
individually regulated in terms of the amount of lubricant supplied in each
cycle.
2. High
reliability: low operating pressure with a limited number of distribution units.
3. Better
control of operation: low and no lubricant level warning and rotation
monitoring.
Depending on the model, the AGS automatically lubricates the chassis (MLT NewAg/MLT-X 1041-145 PS+L) or the chassis and boom head (MLT-X 841-145 PS+ and MLT-X 961-160 V+ L).
The
automatic lubrication system thus simplifies routine by eliminating the need
for manual lubrication. In addition, it ensures that key machine components
(cylinders, boom, axles, etc.) are optimally lubricated, which helps to optimize
machine uptime.
